Coolest program this week, and in case you missed it…
Monday, April 21st, 2008 | News
Go-Cart Racer was scheduled for last week. However, I didn’t get the getting started pages updated in time so it will be coming next week. The reason for the delay is Go-Cart Racer is leaps and bounds cooler than previously offered programs on Cymon’s Games thanks, in no small part, to using the Curses library, which must be added to your installation of MinGW manually. So until I get instructions for setting up PDCurses on MinGW I’ve switched Go-Carts with Awari, which is a cool game in it’s own right.
But once I’ve updated getting started you’ll start seeing program (occasionally) getting way cooler around here. And in case anyone is wondering OpenGL and maybe SDL will be coming one day.
Also, just a reminder, the shop is open. I’ve recently been clued in to the fact that you, as the buyer, can personalize your shirt. You can change any of the shirt’s colors (Personally I like the khaki) and customize the text. So if “Hello, World” doesn’t strike your fancy you can easily switch it to say “Kiss me, I type-in.” It’s up to you.
Would anyone like a shirt with a program’s listing on it?
Also, there is still that new poll to the right, tho in truth if it’s not overwhelming in the negative chances are the the PDFs are here to stay.
